Thank you for making this web site to share Steve's music. I have been trying to find his music for years...I bought tapes of his music back in the 80's, and you can imagine the shape they are in. I first heard Steve's music when I was in high school, and he played a concert at Sacred Heart Church in Prescott. (I made a giant painting from the cover of his album, the one with the picture of him in blue), for the concert. I am continually blessed by his music, and it runs through my mind all the time, especially "I will bless Thee", and "Come follow Me", which I sang to my children as a lullaby. I ordered the cds to replace my very worn out tapes, and my youngest, Daniel-Paul,who is 8, has been singing "Come follow Me" all week long, and says it is his favorite song in the whole world!!

Hi Melanie! This lent, I started playing my old Steve Crosky cd everytime I drive in the car, because his music ALWAYS makes me feel holier and helps me to feel the Holy Spirit in a very real way. My favorite song is "Praise the Lord My Soul"....I sing it while doing dishes, laundry, and while rocking the baby to sleep. My 3 year old son loves "Alleluia, the Lord is King" - he sings it non-stop. Steve's music always takes me back to our days at City of the Lord, or back to the cool dance parties Steve would DJ for us. He lives on in his music! God bless you Melanie, and your sons!

I was privileged enough to play with Steve Several times at St. Joan of Ark and St. Maria Goretti and played some percussion on Steve's final recording as well as at his final concert. Steve's music always inspired me to pray and go deeper in my faith. He was one of my inspirations to become a Christian Composer and Music Director. I am so grateful for this website and that you are keeping his music alive. May God rest his soul and may his music live on for many years to come.

What a nice website you set up! I was browsing through David Burba's site and found you here! What a trip down memory lane. And the music sends me back there spiritually. Orlando and I have 4 kids of our own now and we are living in Palatine, Illinois near Chicago. We miss everybody!

So glad I found this website. At mass this morning for Ash Wed. the psalm was number 51. I started humming Steve's song "Create in me" in my mind after hearing the words of the psalmist "create in me a clean heart O Lord". I was a huge fan of Steve's in college (University of Arizona) in the late 80's. Still have the cassettes, but should probably upgrade to CDs now! Thank you for posting his music on the web.

Oh, I am so happy to see this website! Tonight in my meditation, I was reading Psalm 63 and everytime I read it, I think of Steve Croskey. His song I Will Bless Thee is my favorite. Listening to his songs on this site brings back so many memories. I remember him from my time attending a Young Adult conference in Los Angeles. I have his cassettes but no longer have a player. I would love to get his CD's! Thank you for sharing Steve with us!
